I'm a astronomy Ph.D. student. Born in Santiago of Chile, I got an astronomy B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree at the University of Chile working with Dr. Patricio Rojo. In 2009 I became a Fulbright scholar and entered to the Physics Ph.D. program for Planetary Sciences Track at the University of Central Florida working with Dr. Joe Harrington.
My research interests are the study of extrasolar planets and the characterization of their atmospheres. I have experience and I'm interested in developing (Python/C) software to, both, reduce and analyze data as well as model their theoretical spectra. I'm also interested in developing statistical tools to use for our the data analises. My non-research interests are practicing all kind of sports, traveling, cooking, and getting better at being human.
