Materials

Light the bulb. Observe and record what happens when various objects (coins, paper, pencil lead, your finger) are inserted in the circuit. What do things that light the bulb have in common?

The Bulb

Make a careful diagram of the bulb. Pay close attention to how wires from the filament are attached to the base. Also indicate which parts are made of conductors and insulators.
