to past assignments available during office hours
and Dr. Saul's office (MAP 240B)
- Extension requests
Must be separate email with extension request mentioned in subject
Please specify which assignment you want exended
- HW questions by email
The first thing I ask for when working in person is to show me what
you have on the problem so far, ie show me you've thought about it.
When asking for help by email, the more you can tell me about what you
have done so far, the better I can help you. While telling me you're
stuck, that let's me know you're having difficulty, but it doesn't give
me any way to help you.
- Email journals
send me an email addressing the follow:
1. What was the most important/significant thing you learned this week?
Please include what was it we did that helped you learn it. Be specific.
2. What is your most pressing question(s)? Again, be specific.
3. If you had to make a change to improve the course, what would it
be?
