The CONVERT program is used to take files from
the ESCALab format, and output files in text form.
It takes files of the form ESCAFile.DAT and outputs
YourName.DAT, YourName.HED, which are ascii files.

The program asks for a path to the source files, the
source file name, the path to the output, and the output
file name.

DO NOT ENTER FILE NAME EXTENSIONS AT ANY TIME!

If the input file name is, say, AUFOIL, then you
will get a set of output files like

AUFOIL11.DAT
AUFOIL11.HED
AUFOIL12.DAT
AUFOIL12.HED

Where the numbers added to the file name are to signal the
region number information (we think--this is a legacy program).
