Some people may not recognize the name, but many people have seen the actual shop without even knowing it. If you're ever in a spy plane, you may be able to spot the distinctive shape of the roof decoration.
The temple is located at 805 W Manchester Blvd in Inglewood, at the corner with La Cienega Blvd. Very near the Airport!
Ped Directions: Take the free airport shuttle to the LAX Transit Center. Walk east to Airport Blvd, then head north. Walk to Manchester, then head east again. Shortly before the 405, Manchester branches left. It's about 2 miles -- here is a Google map.
Bus Directions: Take the free airport shuttle to the LAX Transit Center. Get on MTA bus #715. To get there you want the one that's heading eastbound (probably signed as "Firestone" or "Downey"). To come back you want the one heading westbound (likely signed as "LAX Bus Center"). The fare is $1.35 each way. The bus runs out of the bus center weekdays from 4:52 a.m. thru 8:18 p.m. every 40 minutes or so, and runs back toward the bus center until 9:09 p.m. The trip takes only about 8 minutes each way. The fare is $1.25 each way. If you're there on the weekend, you'll have to walk about 1 mile north to Manchester and catch a #115 heading east. They run from around 6 a.m. to 11:20 p.m. eastbound, and until about midnight westbound. You could always take a taxi -- it's be about 3 to 3.5 miles. But then you have to have the taxi wait for you while you grab some product.
