Spring 2013: Physics for Scientists and Engineers (I): The primary objective of this course is to prepare students with fundamental knowledge of physics and obtain skills necessary for higher science and engineering courses.

Classes taught previously

Spring 2010: Physics for Scientists and Engineers (II): The primary objective of this course is to prepare students with fundamental knowledge of physics and obtain skills necessary for higher science and engineering courses.

Spring 2008: Nanoscale Surface Physics: In this course students learn novel physical and chemical properties displayed by nanoscale materials and will learn new physical concepts that can be applied to describe the unusual behavior of low dimensional systems (nanorods, nanodots, etc.). This course will also provide fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge on how to fabricate nanostructures, how to investigate their morphological structure (AFM, STM), electronic structure (XPS, AES, UPS, STM) and chemical behavior (TPD).
