Optical lithography

The OAI mask aligner shown in the photograph below is a very reliable tool for the UV exposure of the photoresists used during the photolithography process. Optical masks containing the designs to be patterned in the chips are carefully aligned in the central stage of the mask aligner (see other photographs)
