High magnetic fields

Our lab is equipped with superconducting magnet systems capable to provide magnetic field values up to 8T

3D-vector magnet: This magnet allows the application of a high magnetic field in arbitrary directions. This constitutes an excellent tool for the study of anisotropic magnetic systems and/or magnetic properties which depend on the orientation of an external field (such as, for example, quantum tunneling of the magnetization in single molecule magnets)
