It was a great honor to have Dr. Dresselhaus visiting our lab. She gave a beautiful talk about the secrets of the conception of carbon-based nanoscience, of which she is considered a “Founding Mother”.

A great pleasure to meet people like her.

	Andy Kent (my former postdoctoral advisor) and Sir Harold Kroto (Nobel laureate in Chemistry in 1996 for his discovery of the fullerenes) coincided in the lab on February 2006. We had a really good time chatting with both of them
