Personal corner
I invite you to have a tour through my personal pages, where you can find information about my scientific career from the very beginning, when I started working as an undergraduate research assistant in the Magnetism Group of Prof. Javier Tejada (my scientific father) at University of Barcelona (my alma-matter) in 1996, until now as an Assistant Professor of the Physics Department at UCF - Orlando, where I am creating a new research group specialized in quantum nanomagnetism and ultra-low-temperatures.
An special mention is deserved by my postdoctoral advisor Prof. Andy Kent, who I consider my American scientific father. I spent almost three exciting years in his group at New York University (look at the photo in the upper-right corner, put your mouse on it), where I learnt an incredible number of things that helped me to obtain my current position at UCF. His advise and expertise will accompany me over the years.
You will also find non-scientific stuff in this corner. For example, I love very much writing. A fruit of this passion has been recently presented in the form of a science-fiction novel that has been published in Spain and in Spanish by Editorial Equipo-Sirius, Madrid, February 2004. I invite you to read the first chapter (only Spanish version) and I hope you enjoy it enough to order the original book to my publisher in Spain. And, if you know a publisher in USA let me know it :-)
Take a look at some of the photos I have in this corner. Family, friends, collaborators, places, and other lovely stuff...
An finally, in links you will find access to some of the internet places that I usually use in my work and in my free time.
